'Even the most mundane of everyday objects can have a second life'
Does your school/company want to promote recycling? Do your students/clients like making lots of noise? Are you looking for a way to bring your team together/relieve stress? |
|
- Apt Theatre's Junkband is the informative and memorable way to make recycling fun.
- Working with highly experienced rhythm practitioners, Apt Theatre will visit your institution and provide fun and education at your venue.
- Apt Theatre's Junkband not only has an ethos of using only recycled equipment* but also a stress relieving, team building exercise.
What is "Junkband"
Junkband is a great way to highlight the benefits of looking at "rubbish" in a new and creative way. We take the ordinary throwaway things and put them to rhythmical use. A carton becomes a shaker, a sink becomes a drum, curtain rods and pipe insulation become beaters. Apt Theatre will show your students/colleagues that almost anything can be used to create a coherant, musical rhythm. Drawing on great rhythms and sounding like a carnival in your venue, Apt's professional percussionists will take your students on a rhythmical journey.
Apt Theatre's Aims;
